The camera should not be installed in a fixture with a motion detector unless the fixture has settings that allow for the Snap bulb to receive a constant flow of electricity.
The camera needs constant power in order to operate as intended. Fixtures with a built-in motion sensor will cut power to the bulbs in that fixture.
The camera is designed to always be on in order to stay connected to the cloud. If you would like to use a fixture with an existing motion sensor that does not have a settings option, consider hiring an electrician to modify the circuit so that it always receives power .
