First, there is very little reason to reset a Sengled Smart Bluetooth LED bulb.
If the bulb is having difficulty being setup or if the bulb is unresponsive, check for the following first:
- Verify that the bulb is in a powered socket.
- Verify that is it in a compatible fixture. Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh LED bulbs, like most LED bulbs, cannot be used on wall dimmers, ceiling fan fixtures or 3-way lamps.
- Furthermore, Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh LED bulbs, like almost all LED bulbs, cannot be used in enclosed fixtures.
- The Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh LED bulbs are not meant to be used outdoors.
To reset a Sengled Bluetooth Mesh bulb, start with the bulb in the on position.
Turn it off/on five times in quick succession where off/on counts as one time. If done properly, the bulb will flash three times—pause—then blink once.
If it does not flash three times—pause—then blink once, you will have to try again.
Once successfully reset, please try to pair it in your Alexa app again. If the bulb was previously added to the Alexa device, it must first be deleted from the Alexa before it can be added again.
Note: Sometimes, an Echo device will say it did not discover a new device when it in fact did—a false fail.
To that end, please try giving an all lights off command to see if the bulb did in fact add. All you would have to say is, "Alexa, turn all lights off." If the bulb in question responds, it did add back.
It is very similar to resetting the Sengled Smart LED bulbs; the difference being the Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh bulbs only need to be turned off and then back on five times.
