First, there is very little reason to reset a Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED bulb. If the bulb is having difficulty being setup or if the bulb is unresponsive, check for the following first:
- Verify that the bulb is in a powered socket.
- Verify that is it in a compatible fixture. Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs, like most LED bulbs, cannot be used on dimmer switches such as wall dimmers, ceiling fan fixtures or 3-way lamps.
- Furthermore, Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs, like almost all LED bulbs, cannot be used in fully-enclosed fixtures.
- Due to humidity concerns, the Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs are not meant to be used outdoors or in restrooms.
To reset a Sengled WiFi bulb, start with the bulb in the on position. Turn it off/on five times in quick succession where off/on counts as one time. If done properly, the bulb will flash three times and then blink twice.
It is very similar to resetting the Sengled Smart LED bulbs; the difference being the Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED bulbs only need to be turned off and then back on five times.
