Controlling the Camera of the Smart LED with Security Camera

Just as a reminder, the Smart LED with Security Camera is always recording if it is receiving constant power and is connected to a good WiFi signal at the location of use.

This means the upload of the WiFi to which the camera is connected must be 2 Mbps or higher at the location the Snap is being used in.

You can set certain times for the Snap to not record video. Please keep in mind this will also turn the live view off.

To do this, open the Sengled Snap app and tap the hexagon shaped settings button. This will take you to the “Settings” page.

From here, tap on “Camera On/Off”.

Once you are on the “Camera On/Off” page, press “Add Schedule” and you will be on the “Camera Schedule” page.

From here, tap on “Turn On at” to set the time you want your Snap to start recording.

You can scroll up and down to set the hour and minute you want the Snap to turn off it’s video function. Once you are done, press “Save”.

Be sure to set a “Turn Off at” time so your Snap turns the video recording function off. Please keep in mind this will also turn the live stream off.

From here, tap on “Repeat to set the days you would like this camera schedule to run.

This will take you to a page entitled “Select Days”. All of the days are selected by default as indicated by the days with checkmarks.

In the provided examples, we tapped on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday to ensure this camera schedule works only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Once you are done with setting the days you wish for the schedule to work, press the back arrow in the top left corner.
