Setting a Schedule for your Bulbs

Light schedules are set from the “Routines” tab.

Tap on “Routines”.

There are three different types of schedules. The “Light Schedules” option allows you to set on and/or off times for your bulbs. The “Wake Up” option slowly turns on your lights. The “Sleep” option slowly turns your lights off.

Since we want to create a schedule that will turn the lights on at a specific brightness and then turn them off, we will choose “Light Schedules”.

Tap “Add Schedule”.

First things first, choose the time the bulbs are to come on.

To do this, tap on “Turn on at” under the “2. Time” option.

You can scroll on the hours, minutes and AM/PM portion on the popup. Be sure to press “Save” when you have selected the time you would like your schedule to start.

Repeat this process for the “Turn off at” portion of the schedule. Be sure to press “Save” once you are done setting the off time.

With the on and off times set for this schedule, we now need to choose the days we would like for this schedule to run.

Tap on the days on which you would like the schedule to work. The selected days will become red.

In the example provided, Monday-Friday have been selected.

Now that the on and off times are set, we need to select the bulbs and devices that will abide by the schedule.

To do this, tap on “3. Devices” and then select the bulbs you wish to comport with the schedule.

At this point, we only have two devices setup in the Sengled Home app.

To select a device or room, tap on the box next to the device or room.

In this example, since we want all the bulbs to abide by the schedule, we pressed the box next to “Bedroom”.

Press “Done”.

Only a few things left at this point.

We would want to assign the brightness at which the selected bulbs will turn on.

To do that, tap on “4. Brightness and Color Settings”.

Note: In this example, we only have the regular Smart LED bulbs and not the Multicolor or Tunable White ones so there will be no color or color temperature settings to adjust.

Adjust the brightness by dragging the circle on the brightness bar to your desired setting.

Press the arrow in the top-left corner to go back to the schedule page.

From here, scroll up.

The last thing you may want to do so your schedules stay organized is give your schedule a name.

Tap on the default name “New Schedule” and type in your custom name.

In this case, we chose “Weekend Evenings”.

After you are done with all your changes, press “Save” in the top-right corner.

That’s all there is to setting a schedule.

If you want to set a new one, press the plus sign in the top-right corner.

To turn the schedule off, press the slider switch. It will switch from red to grey to indicate it has been turned off.
