Note:
The following bulbs are officially compatible with the Wink hub:
Smart LED A19 in Soft White
Smart LED A19 in Daylight
Smart LED BR30
Smart LED Tunable White
Note:
The Sengled Smart LED line of bulbs like most LED bulbs, cannot be used on dimmer switches. This would include wall dimmers, ceiling fan fixtures and 3-way lamps (lamps with low, medium and high power settings built-in).
Furthermore, the Sengled Smart LED bulbs are not meant to be used in fully-enclosed fixtures. Additionally, the Sengled Smart LED bulbs, with the exception of the Smart LED with Motion Sensor, are not meant to be used outdoors.
With that said, here are the exceptions: the Tunable White bulbs can be used on certain wall dimmers; for more information about this, please visit the following link: https://support.sengled.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003534408-Compatible-Dimmers.
Before getting started, do not power your bulbs on.
1. After your Wink hub is setup, open the Wink app.
Then press the three lines in the top left corner.
From here, press “Add to Wink”.
2. Now, select “Lighting”; then press “Lights”.
This part is very important:
The Wink hub is, generally speaking, adept at identifying which bulb is which. Since we were adding five Smart LED A19 bulbs and two Tunable White bulb, we tapped on “Element Plus” will allow you to connect all three bulbs at once. Element Plus being the previous name for the Smart LED Tunable White bulbs.
3. With that said, press the option that corresponds to the bulbs you are adding; in this case, we tapped on “Element Plus”.
4. The following is the step by step instructions within the Wink app on how to finish step-up.
Press “Next”. Then ensure that your Wink hub is powered on, connected to the internet and working properly. From here, make sure the Wink hub is in range of the Element bulbs. The range of the bulbs is 120 feet under ideal conditions. In actuality, the range will be reduced due to a number of factors such as walls, the materials the walls are made of, wireless crowding, etc.
From here, press “Next” again.
5. At this point, power your bulbs on.
Remember, the Sengled Smart LED line of bulbs like most LED bulbs, cannot be used on dimmer switches. This would include wall dimmers, ceiling fan fixtures and 3-way lamps (lamps with low, medium and high power settings built-in).

After the bulbs are powered on, press “Next”.
6. When ready, press “Connect Now”. The Wink hub will search for the Sengled Smart LED bulbs. This is usually a quick process. Once the bulbs are found, they will flash three times to indicate the Wink hub has found the bulbs.
7. As shown from the below screen, all seven of the bulbs were found.
At this point, since we cannot identify which bulb is which, press “Get Started”.
8. This is the in-app guide on how to control your bulbs. Please read all the in-app instructions carefully as they are helpful.
That covers the basics. For further questions on using the Wink app, please contact Wink Support.
